It’s been nearly two months since we left IdealSeat headquarters in Seattle, WA for a three month trip to explore every nook and cranny of every stadium in Major League Baseball during the #IdealSeatChallenge. So far, we've crossed 20 state lines, driven over 8,000 miles, visited 17 total ballparks, and consumed countless hot dogs. Here is a quick countdown of the most recent stadiums, the top highlights of each park, and a photo update of our travels and the best views in baseball today.

// Story by Adam Gilfix, IdealSeat Stats & Research Team Intern //   It’s hard to believe that another regular season in the MLB has come and gone. Fortunately, the first week of October featured some of the most interesting playoff baseball in recent memory, with Kansas City winning 4 straight games (including their first 3 that went to extras) to win an intense, back-and-forth wildcard game, and then to sweep away the top-seeded Angels. The Royals are ready for the ALCS, which they haven’t made in almost 30 years. I would be remiss not to mention the equally exciting use of the broom by the Orioles in taking down Detroit (who made the ALCS the previous 3 years) and making their first ALCS appearance since 1997.
